Amman, Jordan (November 2012) In its second release, Globitel presents the Roam Analyze as an advanced monitoring tool that gathers and keeps trace of significant events for inbound and outbound roamers giving operators valuable real-time information; through this tool operators can answer different questions that are vital to understand how to capture more inbound roamers as they come into the country and retain them for the duration of their stay. Understanding and answering these questions aids in maximizing the revenue potential from roamers.

Information that can be provided by Roam Analyze include:

·         Number of inbound roamers captured and recaptured by the network

  • Geographical distribution of captured inbound roamers
  • Number and location of inbound roamers that are being lost to competitor networks
  • Number of roamers the operator is retaining from the competitors
  • Detecting if home operators are using traffic redirection
  • Pinpointing any anti-steering systems installed in visited networks

In addition to the comprehensive system built-in reports, the system offers the dynamically configured report template which allows the administrator to build diverse reports to show various statistics about the inbound and outbound roamers in the network by using special filters. Some Dynamic report examples are: Inbound Roamer VLR, SGSN distribution in the network; loss per VLR/Cell ID, SGSN; captured inbound roamer list; in addition to the successful, failed update location attempts for inbound and outbound roamers, etc. Also, the system offering to save specific criteria to be executed regularly, and the report will be available based on the planned schedule.
